FTP File Requirements

We accept many kinds of files from our clients, but we can't work miracles with poor quality artwork. It's your responsibility to submit artwork that's the right size for the ad you're placing. Oftentimes the graphics department is able to make an ad smaller, but we can't turn ¼ page artwork into a full page ad.

• Do not zip your files; zipping will cause a failed upload.
• File must be no larger than 100 MB.
• File must be one of the following types.
  • Adobe Illustrator (.eps or .ai)
  • Adobe Photoshop (.psd or .eps at 300dpi)
  • TIFF (.tif or .tiff at 300dpi)
  • JPEG (.jpg or .jpeg at 300dpi)
  • PDF (.pdf at 300dpi)
• Don't use special characters in the filename such as / ~ ' ` | , ( ).
• Limit your filename to 20 characters or fewer, if possible.

Give your file a personalized, meaningful name, e.g., "Hilton_halfpage.tif". When there are several files in our FTP directory with generic names, e.g., "tourguide_ad.eps", it's impossible to figure out which one is yours.
