TourReady, Inc. announces official launch to help concert-‐touring professionals find work and crew around the world.
BUENA PARK, California - May 4, 2015 - TourReady today announced that their online database is now available for concert-touring professionals to find work and crew for concerts, tours, and festivals around the world. TourReady’s new website and iOS app (coming soon) lets hiring managers and crew connect using industry specific tools and personalized availability calendars. This cutting-edge technology is the first of its kind for the live entertainment industry, helping freelancers and hiring production personnel evolve and become more efficient.
With years of experience in concert-touring, CEO Joey Gallagher, created TourReady to fulfill a demand that has yet to be effectively addressed. Gallagher stated, “With the technology available to us in the 21st century, it was frustrating to witness the lack of advances that have been made to help touring crew find work during their downtime. I constantly get emails, social media messages, phone calls, and guys physically walking into my staging company trying to find work. So when I came up with the idea of TourReady, I devoted over a year of my life reaching out to the industry’s most respected and knowledgeable professionals to gain feedback of what was missing from current services available, ensuring that no stone was left unturned during development.”
TourReady currently targets over 40 different types of touring crew with more to come. When asked about the process, Gallagher replied, “Essentially the database is broken down into two separate portals - one to hire, and one to get hired. Users can ‘browse jobs’ or ‘browse crew’ by filling out the appropriate fields in the filter such as availability, experience, skills, equipment, pay scale, location, languages, education, certifications, and star ratings. The database then generates instant results that match exactly what the user requested. Some additional features include a completely secure network, experience verifications, video resumes, unlimited job postings, messaging, and tour management tools.”
TourReady is available worldwide as a free trial to users, but in order to ensure quality listings and to protect user privacy, hiring customers must go through a simple approval process. Once the free trial period expires, a service charge is required for both platforms to continue use.
“The response we’ve seen from production personnel since the introduction of TourReady has been fantastic,” said Joey Gallagher. “Our customer base continues to grow because of TourReady’s easy and secure approach to connect, find, and be found in the concert-touring industry.”
